Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how heroframe.co uses cookies and similar technologies (collectively, βcookiesβ). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. We use cookies in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences (such as login, basket contents and language) over a period of time. We also use related technologies such as local storage and pixels.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Required to run the site, keep you signed in, remember your basket, process checkout securely and protect against fraud. These do not require consent. Examples: session cookies, Shopify checkout cookies, CSRF tokens.
Functional
Remember your preferences, such as your dismissed promo banner, wishlist and recently-viewed items. Set only after you accept non-essential cookies, except where strictly necessary to deliver a feature you requested.
Analytics
Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it (pages viewed, performance, errors). Set only with your consent. We use privacy-respecting analytics and do not sell this data.
Marketing
Used to measure the effectiveness of our ads and, where applicable, show you relevant ads on other sites. Set only with your consent. Providers may include Meta, Google, TikTok and Pinterest.
3. Third parties that may set cookies
- Shopify β checkout, fraud prevention, cart.
- Klarna / payment providers β fraud and payment processing.
- Analytics β site usage and performance.
- Advertising (with consent) β Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest.
- Customer support / chat β if enabled, to remember your session.
Each third party sets cookies under its own privacy policy.
4. How to control cookies
- Use the cookie banner the first time you visit, or the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings β see aboutcookies.org.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site (such as checkout) from working.
5. Do Not Track
There is no agreed industry standard for "Do Not Track" signals. We currently honour explicit cookie-banner choices rather than the DNT header.
6. Changes
We will update this Cookie Policy when we add or change cookies. For more about how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
